Recently released, "Mubarakan" directed by Anees Bazmee has started spilling its magic in the movie theatres all over India and has received a great response. Anees Bazmee has always managed to create an impression in many comedy movies like Golmaal, Judwa, Seeta aur Geeta and the list goes on.

The story revolves around the three main characters where Karan, Charan and Kartar Singh are the main leads. Karan (Arjun Kapoor) and Charan (Arjun Kapoor) are twins but unfortunately due to their parents' car accident get separated, and their uncle (Anil Kapoor) decides to send one to his sister residing in London and the other to his brother in Chandigarh following a series of hilarious incidents, confusion, misunderstandings and a lot more.

The film has a lot of amusing and hilarious dialogues but the climax is a bit predictable. The usual Sardar jokes were something which was expected and Bollywood never fails to astound us by their racist comments and dialogue delivery.

Arjun Kapoor acts really well and gained a lot of appreciation for his double role. Ileana D'Cruz plays one of his love interests and has given an excellent performance. Athiya Shetty who plays the love interest of his second character was expected to do better since she is the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty. The best performance was of course by veteran Anil Kapoor, whose wonderful acting, confident and dialogue delivery saved the day. Himman Dhamija deserves mention for good cinematography. The film has been shot in picturesque locales in London and Chandigarh.

Verdict: A good comedy family movie which one can watch on the coming weekend.
