Marking Respect To Sridevi, Amitabh Bachchan Cancels '102 Not Out' Song Shoot

The sudden demise of legendary actress Sridevi has taken the entire Hindi film fraternity by storm. Celebrities and commoners from all around the globe are posting condolences to her family and closed ones.

Among the many renowned names mourning over the death of Bollywood's first female superstar, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are two of her co-stars who admired the actress for her acting skills and warm personality.

The duo, who will be seen sharing the screen space in Umesh Shukla's forthcoming film '102 Not Out' has reportedly called off the scheduled song shoot on Sunday for the movie for paying respect to the veteran actress.

Shukla confirmed the news to IANS and said, "Yes, as a mark of respect to the sudden and untimely demise of our legendary actress Sridevi, we decided to cancel our today's song shoot of 102 Not Out. May God give peace to her soul and strength to her family."

While there are no reports regarding any other date for the song's shoot, the track titled Baadduummbaaa has been composed by Amitabh Bachchan himself for the film which is very close to his heart.

Based on Saumya Joshi's well-known Gujarati play, '102 Not Out' revolves around the unusual father-son bond. Amitabh will be seen playing the 102-year-old father whereas Rishi will be seen as his 75-year-old son. The film is slated to release on May 4, 2018.
