Kapil Sharma on Saturday morning informed that he had filed a case of 'attempt to extortion' by a news agency, journalist Vickey Lalwani and Kapil's former managers Neeti Simoes and Preeti Simoes.

Kapil accused the journalist for starting false and malicious propaganda to defame him in digital media after he refused to pay him the amount.

On the other hand, Vickey Lalwani in a report revealed that Kapil abused him over the phone and also posted an audio clip of the same. Lalwani said that the comedian made derogatory remarks against his daughter.

On Friday evening, a lot of tweets filled with abusive content were made by the official Twitter account of Kapil Sharma but they got deleted shortly after. Later, Kapil tweeted that his account was hacked and requested people to ignore.

However, his fans were in for a shock when another tweet denying the hacking appeared. The tweet read, "Whatever I wrote I wrote from the heart... it was my team who deleted my tweets".
