Shah Rukh Khan's love for Dubai can be evident through the number of parties and get together he hosts in the breathtaking locations of the country. In a bid to pay tribute to the mesmerising location, the actor has recently signed a Dubai Tourism's campaign, which will include a short film featuring Bollywood's King Khan.

The campaign by Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing will be helmed by Kabir Khan. The director has never worked with the superstar before and is thrilled to direct Shah Rukh Khan. The 'Ek Tha Tiger' hitmaker has always aspired to work with SRK and exploited the given opportunity while shooting.

In an official statement, Kabir revealed, "I have always aspired to work with Shah Rukh, the charisma he brings to every shot is admirable, while Dubai has been one of my favourite cities to visit. In these films, we have done our best to capture the essence of Dubai, from its stunning locations to its welcoming hospitality."

Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai's Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), said, "There is no one quite like him (SRK) - with his charisma, global appeal, and most importantly because he truly considers Dubai to be his second home and shares so many similarities with what Dubai stands for."

Shah Rukh has shot for the same campaign last year and this year, "along with one of Bollywood's most recognised directors, Kabir Khan, we are taking that partnership further to exploring new places and attractions but with the signature essence of Dubai that truly makes it a place where every visitor can feel like they belong to even greater heights," Shah Rukh said.

Shot across the iconic locations of Dubai including LEGOLAND Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai, the mini-series aims at strengthening the connection and cultural links between Dubai and the subcontinent. The video will emphasise the importance of audiences from the subcontinent prompting them to repeat visitation to the emirate.
