The song Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu from the 1958 film Howraw Bridge is one of the most popular old songs, and now it has gotten a modern rendition as well which was released on Friday, sung by Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha for her upcoming movie Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi.

About the song Sonakshi said, "There is no better song than Chin Chin Chu, served with a Punjabi tadka, to rightfully capture the essence of our film. It's a double treat for me, as I am not only featuring in the song but also singing it."

While the main lyrics of Chin Chin Chu are similar to the original, the music has a new peppy feel to it and Punjabi lines have also been added, giving it a modern twist.

The video depiction takes place in a Chinatown where Sonakshi Sinha, Jassie Gill, Jimmy Sheirgill and Piyush Mishra, in a hilarious situation are about to be hurt by one of the Chinese and so Jassi breaks out in a song, followed by the others.
