Happy 39th Birthday 'Bahubali' Prabhas, Know More About Telugu Charm

Baahubali Actor Prabhas turned 39 on Tuesday. He is one of the most celebrated actors who has come out of the Telegu Cinema.

On one hand where Prabhas's fans celebrated his birthday by doing more than 31 lakhs tweets on social site Twitter, on the other Prabhas surprised his fans as the makers teased a special content of his upcoming movie ‘Saaho’ on the occasion his birthday.

Saaho is an upcoming Indian cyberpunk action film written and directed by Sujeeth. The film stars Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Evelyn Sharma.

 These are the lesser known facts about our enigmatic star:

  1. He was born on October 23, 1979. Cinema runs in his blood. The actor is the son of notable producer U. Suryanarayana Raju and wife Siva Kumari.
  2. 05Prabhas started his career in the Telugu romantic action film Eeshwar in 2002, in which he was paired opposite Sridevi Vijaykumar. Unfortunately, it wasn't much of a launchpad grossing averagely at the box-office.
  3. His schooling is from Bhimavaram and Hyderabad and holds a degree in Engineering. He wanted to become a businessman but life had something in store for him.
  4. Prabhas is the first south Indian actor to have a wax statue in Madame Tussaud's wax museum.
  5. In 2014, Prabhas made a small Bollywood debut with a cameo in the song Punjabi Mast in Ajay Devgn's Action Jackson, in which he shook a leg with Sonakshi Sinha, heightening fans expectations for a full Hindi film debut. However, this is still yet to happen.
  6. Prabhas played the title role in S. S. Rajamouli's epic film Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), which is the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film to date. Prabhas reprised his role in its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), which became the first ever Indian film to gross over ₹1,000 crore in all languages in just ten days, and it is the second highest-grossing Indian film to date.
