Every year, Time comes up with the list of 100 most influential people, who deserve to be honoured for their respective contributions to their fields. Among the number of world leaders, sportspersons and world-classes actors, one name which shined was of none other than Deepika Padukone.

Sharing the list with the likes of Nikole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Gal Gadot, Greta Gerwig and Lena Waithe, Deepika Padukone has made the nation proud by being the only Indian actress on the prestigious list. Having gone through the atrocities associated with the release of 'Padmaavat', the actress surely deserved the honour.

As a custom, one of her colleagues had to pen some words of appreciation for the actress and her  'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' co-star, Vin Diesel was more than joyful at taking up the opportunity to praise the beauty. "She isn't just a star. She's an actor's actor, dedicated to the craft," Diesel wrote.

With her, what you see is real, and what you get is a relatable young woman with her heart and mind in the right place," Priyanka Chopra wrote. The actress also featured on the list two years back.
