Darjeeling Villa Re-Named In Honour Of Rajinikanth After The Thalaivaa's Stay

The resort where the Thalaivaa Rajinikanth stayed in Darjeeling's Kurseong has now been re-named after him. The megastar Rajnikanth stayed at Allita Hotels and resorts for 10 days during the shooting of an upcoming movie.

The hotel management felt honoured with his presence at their property and now has named a Villa in Rajnikanth's name.

As per the media reports, a tree has been planted in the honour of Rajnikanth within the premises of the resort and his favourite tea from Chia Bar, the resort's tea lounge has been renamed as Thalaivaa Special.

Mehul Parekh, Managing Director, Allita Hotels & Resorts, Kurseong added, “We are extremely grateful to host someone of his stature. This is an achievement in itself for us. This is just a small gesture on our part to show our gratitude towards the star he is.”

Rajinikanth will be back in the first week of July at Allita to shoot for the next leg of his film.

Raju Mahalingam, former creative head of Lyca Productions and Secretary of Rajni Makkal Mandram tweeted,"The resort where Thalaivar put up in Kureseong has now named a villa after him. The superstar stayed at Allita Hotels and Resorts for 10 days for the shoot of his upcoming SUN productions film. The Villa has now renamed as 'Rajnikanth Villa #3 in his honour"

The movie's shoot will be wrapped up in quick schedules. There are speculations that Kajal Aggarwal will play the female lead while Vijay Sethupathi will play a crucial role in the movie. Sun Pictures is producing this big budget entertainer that will hit the screens during December.
