A case of sexual abuse has been filed against Bollywood actor and Producer Jeetendra by his cousin.

As per a NewsX report, the alleged incident took place in January of 1971 when the victim, Jeetendra’s cousin, was 18 years old and Jeetendra was around 28 years older. The case has been filed in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Jeetendra’s cousin filed the complaint only after the demise of her parents who would have suffered a heartbreak had they come to know of the incident.

The victim in her complaint states that the accused ‘Ravi Kapoor’ (the birth name of Jeetendra) arranged with her father to have her join him on the set where the movie was being filmed without even informing her. He took her to Shimla from Delhi in a car along with two other actors. He brought her to his hotel room where he later came drunk and allegedly sexually abused her.

The victim wants closure for the mental trauma she suffered for years after the alleged abuse. As per the report the victim and her family have requested the media to keep their identity secret in accordance with the law and considering the fact that Jeetendra is rich, powerful and politically well connected.

Jeetendra is a veteran Bollywood actor and the Chairman of Balaji Telefilms. He is married to Shobha Kapoor and has two children Ekta Kapoor and Tushar Kapoor.
