Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati earned a lot of fame for playing the magnificent villain in the highest-grosser. The actor is once again ready to entertain his fan with his upcoming film 'Haathi Mere Saathi'.

As it is clear from the name only, the film is based on the friendly-natured man and his friendship with an elephant. On the eve of New Year 2018, Rana treated his fans with a special gift by sharing his killing look from the movie.

He wrote on Twitter, “Entering the new year with a great new story to tell. Introducing #Bandev from #HaathiMereSaathi.”

Later he added, "And now it’s officially another year!! Happy New Year!! Let’s make each day count!! Best wishes. And for the ones who missed here’s #Bandev form #HaathiMereSaathi."

The trilingual film is directed by Prabhu Solomon and will include scenes triggered by real-life events. The film will be extensively shot in Thailand whereas some shots can also be filmed in India. The anticipated drama is supposed to release on Diwali in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

If you are thinking that this movie is a sequel to the old Haathi mere Saathi of Rajesh Khanna then you are absolutely wrong as this film is entirely different from the old one.

Speaking about the elephants, the director said, "They are intelligent and magnificent creatures that humans can take a cue from when it comes to living, thinking and love. It will be quite exciting for me to shoot the film simultaneously in multiple languages for the first time."
