If there is one actress in Bollywood who has taken the industry by storm with her life, it's Parveen Babi. The Bollywood diva, who ruled the movies in the 70s and 80s with Big B, Shashi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, was no less than a female megastar.

Born on April 4, 1949, in Junagarh, Gujrat, Parveen began her modelling career in 1972, ultimately moving to Bollywood where she achieved the crown of success and won millions and millions of hearts.

Parveen Babi was an Indian actress, who appeared in 60 feature films and is most remembered for her glamorous roles in Deewar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Namak Halaal, Suhaag and Shaan.

Parveen belonged to the Royal Babi dynasty.

She was the first Bollywood star to appear on the cover of the Time magazine.

She was born in a Muslim family and later converted to Christianity in her last days.
