Bangistan Banned From Release In Pakistan

bangistan-700x400 Karan Anshuman’s upcoming film ‘Bangistan’ didn’t get passage to release in Pakistan. It has been banned because the movie is supporting anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan aspects. ALSO READ: ‘Bangistan’ A Poker Face Comedy: Riteish Deshmukh According to the report, Film’s co-producer, Ritesh Sidhwani, he himself wants to show the film to the censor board and the ministers to authenticate the idea behind making the film. He has even applied for visas to visit Pakistan for a day along with the film’s director and actors to screen the film. Sidhwani has also written a letter to the ministry appealing for an analysis of the judgement. He said, “Basing their judgement on the trailer alone, they have decided that the film is anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim. If anything, it's anti-terrorism and since Pakistan is as much a victim of this global menace as any other country, it is in their interest to screen the film. It's message is that it's foolish to give up your life for a cause you'll not live to fight for." It is about two suicide bombers, Hafeez (Riteish Deshmukh) and Allah Rakha (Pulkit Samrat) who have been influenced for an explosive mission and one fine day they certainly realize that nothing can be more futile act than a death wish. The movie is all set to release next week on July 31.
