B-Town Celebs Reacts To Salman Khan's 5 Year Jail Term In Blackbuck Poaching Case

In a major disappointment to Salman Khan and his fans, the Jodhpur court found him guilty in the blackbuck poaching case and handed a five-year jail term with a fine of Rs 10,000. 

Salman has been found guilty while co-accused Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam are freed by the case.

Salman was accused of killing two blackbucks in Kankani village, Jodhpur, during the shooting of his film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' on October 2, 1998.

At the hearings in the Jodhpur court, Salman was accompanied by his sisters Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan Sharma. 

The jail term hasn’t been any less than a shock for Salman's family and whole Bollywood industry. Many B-Town celebs came out in support of Salman as the news of the quantum of punishment came out.

Jaya Bachchan believed that Salman should have been given relief.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai tweeted his shock on the verdict and expressed hope that Salman would get relief from higher courts.

Model-Actor Suyyash Rai questioned the court in his tweet saying, "Who are you to punish Salman Khan"?

Shilpa Shinde, the winner of Bigg Boss season 11 came out in favour of Salman Khan.

Sona Mohapatra left many questions on blackbuck poaching case verdict.

Arjun Rampal said, "I feel this is too harsh. I do hope he gets the relief he deserves.".

Bigg Boss season 10 winner Manveer Gurjar, who shared the stage with Salman in the reality show came in favour of Salman.

Kamya Punjabi came out strong, highlighting how Salman got jail term in this case, but how murderers and rapists move freely in the country.

As per recent reports, hearing for the bail application of Salman Khan's BlackBuck Poaching Case will take place on Friday in Jodhpur Session Court. Till then, fans can still have a ray of hope
