As Iconic Opera House turns 103, 102 Not Out Star Cast Join Celebrations

The iconic Opera House of Mumbai turned 103 years old on Friday. The star cast of '102 Not Out' gathered to join the celebrations. 102 Not Out starring the legendary duo Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in main leads is directed by Umesh Shukla.

The Royal Opera House in Mumbai is India's only surviving Opera House. Inaugurated in 1912, it has been a pride of Mumbai. The entertainment at the opera house was started by an American magician followed by several premiers of famous Bollywood movies.

During the event, Umesh Shukla shared his experiences with the star cast. As the legendary duo is uniting on-screen after 27 years, the director shared some amusing stories and anecdotes from the sets.

According to sources, the starring duo agreed for the film within just 10 minutes of narration. Senior Bachchan shared his views on cinema-going digital by comparing it with the scenario of old times. While Rishi Kapoor narrated his journey as a child artist and his experiences of facing a camera and he had to give a shot on a rainy day.

The actors also took to Twitter to inform their fans of the Opera House celebrations.

102 Not out is a unique storyline and it has aroused everybody’s interest. The movie does not feature any leading lady. The film has a peppy number the song Badumbaa, sung by Big B himself. The film goes on floors on May 4.
