Anupam Kher's Look In 'The Accidental Prime Minister' Unveiled

The shooting of the film 'The Accidental Prime Minister' has started in London. In the film, Anupam Kher will be playing the character of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. The latest look of Anupam Kher from the film is been released.

Former PM Manmohan Singh's biopic 'The Accidental Prime Minister' has been in the headlines for several days. In the picture, you can see Anupam Kher in the disguise of former PM Manmohan Singh.

In the picture, Anupam Kher is seen wearing a Nehru jacket over white kurta-pyjama with a light blue coloured turban. For a second, one will get confused to find the difference between the former PM and Anupam Kher in the white beard.

Anupam Kher took to his official Twitter handle on Thursday to share these looks from his upcoming film. While sharing the pictures he wrote, "Happy to share my first look of #DrManmohanSingh, India’s Former Prime Minister from the movie #TheAccidentalPrimeMinsiter directed by #VijayRatnakarGutee & produced by #BohraBrothers. Creative producer is @mehtahansal. Film is based on #SanjayBaru's book with the same title.

'The Accidental Prime Minister' is based on a book written by Sanjaya Baru, who was the media advisor to PM Manmohan Singh. In the film, Akshaye Khanna will be seen in Sanjaya Baru's role and Aahana Kumra will play the character of Priyanka Gandhi. Earlier, Aahana was featured in 'Lipstick Under My Burkha'.

The poster of this movie was released a few months ago.

The 63-year-old Actor has been recently nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in BBC film The Boy with the Topknot, based on the memoir of the same name by Indian journalist Sathnam Sanghera.

'The Accidental Prime Minister' will be released on 21 December 2018.
