Comic Con Posters Confirms Title & Theme Of American Horror Story Season 8

The brand new posters from San Diego Comic-Con 2018 have officially confirmed the title and the theme for the upcoming show 'American Horror Story Season 8'.

The eighth season of Ryan Murphy's anthology spook-a-palooza will be titled American Horror Story: Apocalypse. Apocalypse will be the theme of the Murder House and Coven crossover, with the show set to premiere September  12.

The new poster depicts a blood-red-baby playing with a black hand, this might be the Antichrist baby we saw as Connie Britton's character, Vivian, deliver at the end of Murder House. And given that this season is said to take place in the not-too-distant future, it's likely that an older version of Michael will play a significant role.

The two different seasons had dramatically different endings as they concluded, with Murder House ending with the impending arrival of the Antichrist and Coven ending with the witch school happily opening itself up to the public. It remains to be seen how the two will intertwine, or what the narrative will be.

Ryan Murphy promised even bigger scares for the eighth season of the FX show. “It’s a season, unlike anything we’ve done because there’s a big hook to it. There’s a huge thing that happens in episode five,” he told a leading daily.

So far, AHS regulars Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter and Cheyenne Jackson are all slated to star in Apocalypse, which is the only AHS season set to take place in the future.
