"I'm by your side, don't worry," are exactly the words every sister expects from her brother. The sense of protectiveness that comes along with being an elder brother seems to be the reckoning force which pushed Arjun Kapoor for penning a heart-warming note for his little sister, Janhvi.

Daughter of late veteran actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor is all geared up to make her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan directorial 'Dhadak', the trailer of which is supposed to hit the web on Monday. Much like the starlet's other family members, Arjun is extremely excited.

Owing his absence during Dhadak's trailer launch to his busy schedule and his forthcoming film Namaste England's shooting, which is currently ongoing in London, Arjun humbly apologised to Janhvi. "Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry," he wrote.

"I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow your own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know you are ready for all the madness that will ensue," he added.

Arjun concluded his awe-inspiring note for his baby sister by wishing the entire team of Dhadak best of luck along the lines, "All the best for Dhadak! I’m certain that my friends Shashank Khaitan and Karan Johar have presented you and Ishaan Khatter as the modern Romeo and Juliet with elan."

Ever since Sridevi's untimely demise, all four Kapoor siblings had been spending quality time together bonding and making up for the years they missed in each other's life. Notably, Arjun Kapoor had admitted a few years back of not having any connection with his stepsisters.

Talking about her late mother, Janhvi unveiled Sridevi's reaction upon watching Dhadak to Vogue. "She was very technical about it. The first thing she told me was the things I needed to improve — she felt the mascara was smudged and it really bothered her," she said.

Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, 'Dhadak' is the official remake of hit Marathi film, Sairat. Along with Janhvi, the film also stars Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khatter in the lead role. The film is set to hit the screens on July 20.
