Kangana Ranaut is all set to direct a movie based on her own life. The movie is a biopic on the actress and her journey so far. The scripting process has already started and it is KV Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali fame who is overseeing it.

The film will go on floor by the end of this year in October-November. According to media reports, Kangana already has her technical crew in place from Manikarnika who she is keen on to work with for her own production films.

As per Kangana, the film isn't any sort of propaganda for the actress and will show different events from her life. There are many people in the actress's life who have always encouraged her to move forward. The biopic will throw light on these characters.

Confirming the news Kangana said, “Yes, it is true. My own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I am emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am.”

Meanwhile, the actress also shared that it was the scriptwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad, who gave her the idea that she should do a project based on the true story of her life. While at first, Kangana was nervous and wary about it but eventually, she succumbed to the idea because the actress admittedly is in awe of the writer and trusts him completely.

Meanwhile, inching closer to the 100 cr club, Manikarnika has collected over Rs 95 crore at the box office in 24 days. The film also features Ankita Lokhande, Suresh Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Danny Denzongappa and Jisshu Sengupta in key roles.
