As per section 63(E) of Bombay Liquor Prohibition Act, 1949 one isn’t allowed to have more than 12 units of hard liquor like scotch, whisky and rum in their possession for more than a month.

Also, the law prohibits one from bringing more than one bottle of liquor at a time from abroad.

The actor can be put behind bars for 3 years and will be charged with a fine decided by the court if he is at all found guilty of the crime.

Before making the news official, the police questioned him at the Bandra excise station.

According to media reports, the Excise police said that they are trying to find the prices of the liquor bottles that Armaan possessed as most of the bottles are by international manufacturers.
