The post-Diwali week brought great news for Ayushmann Khurana as his movie "Badhaai Ho" has been getting more screens due to the debacle of Aamir – Amitabh starrer "Thugs Of Hindostan".

According to media reports film trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel, in an e-mail, that Badhaai collected Rs 4.95 crore net on its fifth weekend while Thugs of Hindostan collected approx Rupees 3.75 crore net on its second weekend.

After a smashing opening and then the downfall TOH faced movie collected only 2.75 crores on its second Thursday which helped in Badhaai Ho’s success.

The audience had high hopes with this multi starrer but this time Aamir was not able to stand up to their expectations. Because of the tedious writing and average acting from the actors the movie has lost a large no. of the audience.

On the other hand, Ayushman starrer "Badhaai Ho" was able to entertain the audience even after 4 weeks.

Due to the horrible reviews and negative words of mouth TOH has crossed new records of disappointing collection every day.  It is likely that the movie will give in during the weekdays and 'Badhaai Ho" will still perform until Robot 2.0 gets released.
