Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao are two Bollywood actors who have proved their Mattel on the basis of sheer talent. After sharing screen space in Vikas Behl's acclaimed film 'Queen', the duo will reunite for Ekta Kapoor's forthcoming film, 'Mental Hai Kya!'.

Revealing their first looks from the film, the makers provided an insight of what the viewers can expect from the thriller. The quirky posters prompt the audience to bring out the "crazy" in them because "Sanity is overrated!".

Helmed by veteran Tollywood filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao’s son, Prakash Kovelamudi, film's screenplay has been written by Kanika. The film celebrates the beauty in imperfections and in being different and shouts out, Sanity is overrated!

Balaji founder Ekta Kapoor released a press release stating that 'Mental Hai Kya' "promises to be a young and edgy entertainer and it comes at a time when ‘the different and the bizarre’ are being celebrated."

Kangana has earlier said, "The story is about a woman who could be a murderer or a mentally ill person. It talks about mental health, but also has a light-heartedness to it." She further added, "You’re never sure if this girl is hallucinating or what’s happening to her is for real."

'Mental Hai Kya' will reportedly go on floors next month as Kangana is busy in shooting her period drama based on warrior queen Rani Lakshmibai, 'Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi' whereas Rajkumar Rao is awaiting the release of upcoming film 'Omerta'.
