UP Board Result 2018: Rajnish Shukla Tops Class 12th, Anjali Varma Emerge 10th Topper

The result of Uttar Pradesh 10th and 12th Board exams were declared by the state's Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on Sunday sealing the fate of over 29 lakh students. The results are available at and but due to heavy rush, the website has slowed down.

In case of delayed response from the official website, the students are requested to wait for a while before trying again instead of looking at the unofficial ones. UP Board exams for class 10th were conducted from 6 February - 22 February 2018 whereas 12th exams were held from 6 February - 12 March 2018.

The pass percentage for class 12 is 72.43% whereas 75.16% for class 10. Fatehpur's Rajnish Shukla and Barabanki's Akash Maurya have emerged as the first toppers with 93.20 percent in 12th exams followed by Ananya Rai, Abhishek Kumar and Ajeet Patel. In 10th, Allahabad's Anjali Varma has topped with  96.33 percent.

Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister has congratulated the students for their results and promised to honour the ones with merit. He also mentioned that he is delighted with the great results despite the cheating scandal with unearthed during the board examination.

Students are recommended to print their result for future reference before closing down the online scorecard. The provisional results will, however, only serve the purpose temporarily and the original report cards must be collected by the students from their respective educational institutions for official work.
