JEE Advanced 2018 Results Declared; 18, 138 Candidates Qualify

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2018 results were declared on Sunday for the examinations that were held on May 20 for around 2.2 lakh students. The JEE Advanced exams are conducted for admissions to the elite Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) for which the seat allocation will begin from June 15.

An overall of 18,138 aspirants have cleared the JEE Advanced 2018, with the topper emerging as Pranav Goyal who attempted the exam from the Roorkee Zone, scoring 337 marks out of 360. Sahil Jain from Kota and Kailash Gupta secured ranks 2 and 3 respectively while Meenal Parakh is the topper among the female candidates, securing 318 marks out of 360.

Those clearing the JEE Advanced 2018 are also eligible to attempt the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2018 based on which admissions are conducted for the B. Arch. (Architecture) program. The registration process for the AAT 2018 begins from Sunday.

For the first time the JEE Advanced examination was held completely in the online mode. Aspirants clearing the JEE Mains 2018 exam were eligible to attempt the JEE Advanced exam, which can be attempted a maximum of 2 times in 2 consecutive years.

The results of the JEE Mains 2018 examination were declared on April 30 with 2,31,024 candidates clearing the exam successfully. This year the cut-off for the general category was 74 while the cut off was 45 for OBC/NCL, 35 for PWD, 34 for ST and 29 for SC.

- Click on the link given on the home page

- Enter your registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address

- Sign in and view your results

- Take a print out of the results for future reference
