Bihar Board Class 10th Results Out, 68.8% Students Pass

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Bihar board Class 10th result at 4.30 pm on 26 June. BSEB conducted the exams from 21 to 28 February. The practical examinations were held from 22 to 24 January, the board said in a statement. The result was declared on BSEB's official website,

17,58,795 students had appeared in the Class 10th exam held at 1400 different centres across the state. Before the exams, BSEB had arranged counseling sessions over the phone to answer queries related to the exam.

As far as results are concerned, 12,11,617 (68.8%) students have been able to clear the exam. Out of these 6,68,505 are boys and 5,44,112 are girls. Last year the overall pass percentage was 50.12.

Prerna Raj from Jamui district topped the Class 10th Bihar Board exams with 457 marks out of 500, with an aggregate of 91.4%. Pragya and Shikha Kumari were ranked second with 454 marks each. Anu Priya Kumari, who got 452 out of 500, was ranked third.

According to reports, the first, second and the third toppers will get Rs 1 lakh, Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively along with a laptop, an e-book and stationeries. The students obtaining fourth to tenth positions in class 10th board exams will get Rs 10,000 and a laptop each.
