INDvSA First ODI-South Africa Win Toss, Choose To Bat First

The first of six One-day internationals between India and South Africa is being played at the Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban. Today's game has a lot to offer in terms of a contest but little to gain from in the present context as both teams have a point to prove following an overwhelmingly well-fought test series.

As expected, Markram replaced AB De Villiers at number four for South Africa. The hosts are batting deep with Miller, Morris and Phehlukwayo slotted in at 6,7 and 8. Imran Tahir is also playing today. On the other hand, India has left out Manish Pandey, Dinesh Karthik and Shreyas Iyer to go back to Ajinkya Rahane at number 4.

South Africa lost their first wicket as Ashim Amla got stroked lbw by Jasprit Bumrah in the 8th over at the score of 16.

Chahal was able to send De Cock on 34 in 15th over. In the 21st over Chahal departed Makram caught by Hardik Pandya on 9 runs.

South Africa has score was 114/3 after 23.1 overs with Duminy and Du Plessis batting on the ground.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli suffered an injury but was able to come back to the ground in the 20th over after getting some treatment on his knee out of the ground.
