India Vanquish Ireland By 143 Runs, Clinch Series 2-0

Team India once again outclassed Ireland by 143 runs in the second T20 international played in Dublin on Friday, thanks to the spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal who claimed three-wicket each.

Ireland won the toss and chose to bowl. Put into bat, Indian batsmen posted a massive total of 213 for 4 wickets.

Surprising everyone KL Rahul and Virat Kohli came out to open the innings for India. Skipper Kohli departed early for 9, running 8 runs short from his 2000 runs milestone. Rahul(70) and Suresh Raina(69) continued their IPL form playing some brilliant shots in the middle. They built a strong partnership of 102 runs for the second wicket.

Hardik Pandya came into bat in the last minutes of the innings and punished the Irish bowlers by a thunderous knock of 32 runs in just 9 balls. He hit 4 towering sixes and a four taking the score past 200.

Replying to the big total of 213, the Irish batsman were bundled out by the Indian bowlers for 70 runs in the 13th over of the game. Ireland was struggling form the first ball and lost 7 wickets on 44 in the 9th over. Indian pacers bowled well in the opening over Umesh Yadav got 2 wickets along with Sidharth Kaul who got his maiden T20I wicket. The spin duo shared 3-3 wickets each.

The men in blue have got the momentum they wanted before the long tour of two months against England.
