Virat Kohli Makes India Proud Again! Forbes Rates Kohli 7th Most Valuable Sportsperson

Considered to be one of the greatest batsmen of all time, Virat Kohli, the captain of the India cricket team is the pride of India, as he continues to break records and secure victories for the nation. Ranked 8th in ESPN's list of world's most famous athletes in 2016, Virat Kohli has secured another laurel for the nation as he became the 7th most valuable sportsperson in Forbes annual list.

Virat Kohli is the only cricketer featured on the Forbes list of most valuable sportspersons released on Wednesday, and he is ahead of football star Lionel Messi who is at the 9th position.

On the top 10 list released by Forbes, 19-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer ranks at number 1 with a valuation of $37.2m. Other stars on the list include famous runner Usain Bolt, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and golfer Tiger Woods.
