Samsung Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus Get Price Cut After The Launch of Galaxy S9

Samsung Galaxy S-Series flagship models, S8 and S8 Plus have received price cuts in India following the launch of the latest Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The company has informed its offline retail partners of the new prices, which are now also available on the company's online store.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 64GB model is now priced at Rs. 49,990, while the Galaxy S8+ 64GB model is priced at Rs. 53,990. The Galaxy S8+ 128GB model is now priced at Rs. 64,900, while there is no 128GB model of the Galaxy S8 listed on the company site for now.

The Galaxy S8 is equipped with a 5.8-inch (14.73 cm) Super AMOLED display, which comes with 4GB RAM and a single 12MP rear camera with a dual variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4. The front cam features 8MP, while the battery is 3000 mAh.

The bigger, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus comes with a 6.2-inch (15.75 cm) Super AMOLED display, with 4GB RAM and 3500 mAh battery. Galaxy S8 Plus has a dual 12MP rear camera. The wide-angle sensor, which is 12MP comes with a dual variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4. The front camera is 8MP with f/1.7 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are both powered by Exynos 9 Octa 8895 chipset, which is an octa-core processor.
