Samsung is all ready to re-capture the mid-segment smartphone market in India with their revamped Galaxy 'J' series. The South Korean mobile-giant is set to launch four new smartphones with 'Infinity Display' in the Indian market in May.
All of the new models will be manufactured at Samsung's Noida facility. All the Galaxy 'J' series devices which targets the millennials would come with 'Infinity Display' - a bezel-less screen that creates an immersive viewing experience at affordable prices.
Notably, Samsung's flagship smartphones such as Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S9 series feature the 'Infinity Display' and the display feature would now be introduced at lower price points in the upcoming devices for Indian users.
The 'Infinity Display' was first introduced by Samsung in Galaxy S8 series in 2017. The first smartphone in the popular 'J' series, Galaxy J7 Duo with the dual camera (13 MP+5MP) and the 8MP front camera was launched at Rs 16,990 in India in April.
Meanwhile, in continuation with its 'Make for India' initiative, the new Galaxy 'J' smartphones would come with innovations such as 'S bike' mode, Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode and 'Turbo Speed' technology.
