Reliance Jio's unmatched 4G network with lowest data rate globally and nationwide free voice calls to any network with no roaming facility has made it the network, one opts for, and if this strong subscriber addition continues at Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, it may soon become leading company in the sector, media reported on Monday.

Experts have claimed that if the Reliance Jio maintains the growth, then it may emerge as the largest telecom company in India as early as the end of 2018.

“We except Bharti Airtel’s net India wireless revenues (reported gross wireless revenues less estimated gross interconnect revenues) to be around Rs 87-88 billion for the second quarter of the financial year 2019. Reliance  Jio’s reported revenues of Rs 92.4 billion are net of interconnect revenues as the company adjusts interconnect revenues in the interconnect costs line,” analysts at Kotak Institutional Equities Research was quoted by the Mint.

“If Bharti does not report a material beat on our estimated wireless revenues for the quarter, Reliance Jio has perhaps crossed Bharti on net India wireless revenues to become #2 after Vodafone Idea. If the current trends continue, Reliance Jio will likely become #1 on net revenues as early as 3QFY19E,” it added.

As per the data released by Telecom Regulatory authority of India (TRAI) on June 26, Reliance Jio had added 96,31,255 subscribers with an astonishing growth rate of 5.16 per cent in the month of April 2018.
