OnePlus To Open Its New Offline Stores In 10 Cities Over India

China's smartphone maker, OnePlus, entered India three years ago. At present, Oneplus has become one of the largest premium Android smartphone brands in the country. The smartphone company is now planning to increase the number of its offline stores in selected 10 cities of India by the end of this year.

The company's Headquarter is in Shenzhen and it started its operations in India in December 2014, as an online brand.

According to IDC's report, in the fourth quarter of 2017, the company has sold 287,000 units and has acquired a 47.3 % stake in the premium smartphone market. OnePlus do online sales of its phones in India through Amazon India and its own portal.

OnePlus India GM, Vikas Agarwal said that we will continue to focus on these two portals as Primary Cell Channel. Moving forward, we are going to open offline stores in the top 10 cities of the country where these stores will be fully owned by the company itself.

Agarwal said that the company has recently partnered with Kroma and its products are only available at 20 stores of Chroma. OnePlus products will soon be available at all the 100 stores of Croma.

OnePlus opened its first Experience Store in India last year in Bengaluru. Now the company has planned to open such stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and other major cities by the end of 2018.

During the year 2017, OnePlus has achieved an increase of 1116 % in the premium smartphone segment.

OnePlus has its own customized Android software named Oxygen OS, which is the fastest of all the operating systems currently available.

The company is currently engaged in establishing its own exclusive service center network in India.
