Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited has changed the way Indians use smartphones in many ways. Apart from the awe-inspiring internet plans, the free calls scheme is what grasped the users' interest.

Irrespective of the plan chosen, the unlimited free calls were promised by the network. The declaration has caused a great uproar for the company at the time of the announcement. Though, now a loophole has been found in the plan.

Just after a day of Jio's announcement of shortening the call limit to 300 minutes per day for "some" users who were noted misusing the privilege, it was revealed that no single call made from the network can go on for more than 5 hours.

In a shocking discussion, few users affirmed that after an hour into the call, some noise disturbances start surfacing. When the matter was reported to a customer executive, he confirmed that the restriction is indeed palpable but only in few cases.

A representative from the company confirmed the five-hour call restriction and added that it is applicable for both Jio and non-Jio networks. In case a user is willing to continue calling via Jio even after 5 hours, he would be needed to recharge his Jio account with Rs. 149.

The user using the service within the prescribed limit won't be affected by the restriction. As claimed by Reliance Jio, the restriction was present since the start but was recently noted and has been put up in reference to TRAI rules.
