Locally-manufactured-Jaguar-XF After a long wait, Jaguar Land Rover India has finally announced the local manufacturing of the news Jaguar XF with an overall price revision of the variants of the car. The locally manufactured Jaguar XF diesel variant now starts at Rs 47.50 Lakh and goes up to 60.5 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While, the petrol variant starts from ₹ 52.50 lakh (three lakh cheaper than before) and goes up to 59.50 lakh. All these variants will come in both petrol as well as diesel guises. The petrol variants comes with the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline motor that produces 237bhp power and develops a peak torque of 340Nm. While, the all-new 2.0-litre diesel engine produces power of 177bhp and develops a peak torque of 430Nm. Moreover, both the petrol and diesel engines come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The new-gen XF is 7mm shorter and 3mm lower than its previous version, while the wheel base has increased by 51mm. Additionally, the legroom and the knee room is also increased by 15mm and 24mm respectively. Making the car more spacious the company has also increased headroom by 27mm at the rear.
