The co-founder of the airline Rahul Bhatia has taken the role of interim CEO.

Gregory Taylor who worked as the Executive Vice President of the company during 2016-17 is making a comeback. In a letter addressed to Indigo employees, Rahul Bhatia reportedly announced that Taylor would be returning as a Senior Advisor reporting directly to Bhatia. Speculations are rife that Taylor will take up the position vacated by Ghosh.

“We are delighted at Greg’s decision to rejoin the IndiGo team and welcome him back to the Company. His enormous and varied experience and understanding of the complexities of the airline industry will be invaluable to our future plans. At the same time, we thank Aditya for all his hard work and contributions and for the successes that the Company has enjoyed,” Bhatia said.
