Forbes' Greatest Business Minds, Vinod Khosla, Ratan Tata And Lakshmi Mittal In List

As Forbes launched its international list of ‘100 Greatest Living Business Minds’, three Indian business tycoons, namely Ratan Tata, Lakshmi Mittal and Vinod Khosla gained a spot in the list.

Chairman and CEO of the steel manufacturing giant ArcelorMittal, Lakshmi Mittal was accompanied by Tata Group’s chairman emeritus Ratan Tata and Sun Microsystems co-founder Vinod Khosla.

The list also included well-known names like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Seattle Seahawks chairman Paul Allen.

However, the list, to everyone's surprise also added the US President Donald Trump, whom it referred to as "Salesman and Ringmaster Extraordinaire: Owner, Trump Organization; 45th President Of The United States."

The special list also includes Donald Trump. Forbes referred him as the “Salesman and Ringmaster Extraordinaire: Owner, Trump Organisation; 45th President Of The United States”.

The list also included others like Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett and News Corp. executive chairman Rupert Murdoch.

Moreover, it also included talk show master Oprah Winfrey, CNN founder Ted Turner, Paypal and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz and Luxottica founder Leonardo Del Vecchio.

Forbes said, "The list speaks to a century of entrepreneurial capitalism compiling the doers who have created, disrupted and innovated on a collectively historic scale."

It said, " To celebrate Forbes’ centennial, we amassed an A-to-Z encyclopedia of ideas from 100 entrepreneurs, visionaries and prophets of capitalism—the greatest ever collection of business essayists and greatest ever portrait portfolio in business history."

According to reports, Forbes put together the list of pioneers who made something with a lasting impact on the world or innovated something that changed the given field for better.

Founded in 1917, by financial journalist BC Forbes and his partner Walter Drey, Forbes magazine is one of the most respected publications across the world.
