4 Of 10 Top Companies Added Cumulatively Rs 76,959.69 Crore To Their M-Cap

Among the 10 most valued companies in the country, four companies have added cumulatively Rs 76,959.69 crore to their market capitalisation value, media reported on Sunday.

In the four companies, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reported a maximum gain followed by the Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), HDFC Bank and Infosys.

According to reports, TCS market capitalisation increased by Rs 30,896.6 crore to Rs 8, 36, 352.25 crores, Reliance Industries market capitalisation value increased by Rs 26,209.45 crore to Rs 7,97,502.56 crore, HDFC Bank market capitalisation increased by Rs 10,439.77 crore to Rs 5,44,970.44 crore and Infosys market capitalisation went up by Rs 9,413.87 crore to Rs 3,17,952.76 crore.

While the four companies witnessed immense growth in their m-cap value, Maruti Suzuki's valuation slumped by Rs 20,813.31 crore to Rs 2,22,045.46 crore, HDFC's valuation tumbled by Rs 13,451.36 crore to Rs 2,97,333.08 crore and ITC m-cap dived Rs 8,309.41 crore to Rs 3,63,217.61 crore.

The state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) market capitalisation value also dropped by Rs 3,657.48 crore to Rs 2,27,469.09 crore.

The total gains of the four companies are higher than the total loss suffered by the six firms which stood at Rs 53,768.3 crore.

The top 10 companies of India are TCS, RIL, HDFC Bank, ITC, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, HDFC, State Bank of India, ONGC and Maruti Suzuki.
