Now after the big festival of Diwali, the wedding season will be the next to knock on our doors. Many brides-to-be are waiting for their d-day moment. All preparations are underway, from finding the best designer bride’s outfit to matching jewelry.

Brides-to-be want to look perfect on their wedding day, and make many visits to showrooms spending time in selection of their perfect wedding dress.

Here are some suggestions to find a trendy lehenga for your wedding this season:

1. If you really want to look different on your D-day, don’t select red or pink lehengas which are common, you can mix-match the colour red with different colours or get some other colour for the day.

2. To add a vintage look to your wedding attire, brides can add a brocade or embellished collar, incorporating flared or large sleeves. Cut-shoulder blouses have emerged as a staple in bridal wear collections. You can also add oodles of drama by spotting a sleeveless jacket over a cut-shoulder choli.

3. If you are planning for a light lehenga, you can go for colour blocking with a stitched plain cotton silk shirt with a flared lenhenga of the same fabric, and embellishing motifs at the bottom. One can go for heavy statement jewelry, which will definitely cover the light lehenga and will give a heavy look.

4. If you are not used to wearing lehengas, you can go for patterns like wrap-around or an extra flared palazzo. This looks bold and sassy by re-inventing the Indian lehenga. For an indo-western gown illusion, one can go for the one-piece lehenga and use a knee-high slit with ruffles, which will look modern but trendy.

5. Bangalori silk lehengas are another good choice, as silk material has its own richness so this material will definitely add royalty to your look. You can go for multicoloured lehenga and mix-match the silk blouse for different occasions. Adding a silk dupatta will complete the look.

6. To add modernity and tradition at the same time, give a break to the usual blouses. A peplum top of organza with a little embroidery on the neck to waist will compliment the heavy embroidered cotton silk lehenga or you can go for a floral printed one. For this look go for delicate accessories.
