Triumph has released a video teaser of its up-and-coming Speed Triple motorbike. Despite the fact that the general styling of the motorbike has not been transformed, it appears to be impressively amended. Some of these changes include the new colour TFT instrumentation, five-spoke alloy wheels, redesigned front fender and switchgear.

In the beginning, the video demonstrates the outline of the new bike, in this shot the Speed Triple appears to be indistinguishable to the model it replaces. It has a similar general design layout, including the windscreen and headlights. Triumph has recently refreshed its Street and Tiger range of Motorbikes, we can expect the new Speed Triple to have an extensive number of changes underneath its comparable looking chassis.

One such refresh has been obviously given away in the secret video – the colour TFT screen. This screen is a full-colour unit like the one seen on the refreshed Street Triple RS and Tiger models, and is exceedingly useful. The Speed will also feature new switchgear with the ride mode-switch being larger and easier to use; it will also be illuminated.

The teaser additionally uncovers different changes like the upgraded five-spoke wheels and a sharper-looking front fender. The new Speed Triple could also accompany some mechanical amendments, which could help the bike make more power and lose some weight, similarly as Triumph did with the new Tigers. Alongside the new TFT screen, hope to see more intelligent electronic assists, possibly supported by an Inertial Estimation Unit (IMU).
