Jeep Compass Trailhawk Expected To Hit The Indian Market Around July 2018

The Jeep Compass, a veritable achievement in India, is soon to get another range-topping variation as the Trailhawk. Pre-booking sum is Rs 50,000 with official dispatch expected around June or July 2018. Trailhawk is the new trim of the Compass and will come with a host of new features and off-road equipment. 

Jeep Compass Trailhawk, though looks similar to the regular Compass in exterior features but some changes in the form of underbody skid plates, dual tone silver black colour and red coloured recovery tow hooks makes it look more dynamic than the regular one. The SUV gets a completely new set of 17-inch exclusive two-tone alloy wheels.

The insides of the Compass Trailhawk wear a few changes with all weather floor mats, quality outfitting in dark with red accents with the Trailhawk moniker weaved onto seats. Rigging console, door panels and dashboard additionally get a coordinating shading plan.

Trailhawk will get a new diesel automatic 2.0-litre Multijet, 4 cylinder diesel engine offering 168 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. This engine is expected to get mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission transferring power to all four wheels. It will also get a 1.4-litre petrol engine as seen on the regular variants with international models receiving a 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

The Trailhawk also expected to receive a panoramic sunroof which is something buyers in India have been showing more preference for. The Compass TrailHawk is expected to come at an ex-showroom price tag of around Rs. 24.5 lakhs.
