The Rocket III currently sits at the top of Triumph India’s range of motorcycles.
The model has been given a make over and is out in a new avatar, labelled the Rocket X. The motorcycle will be a limited edition offering. Only 500 units will be sold worldwide, of which, 15 have been allocated to India. Shipments of the Rocket X have already arrived at the brand's CKD plant in Manesar, Haryana.
This bike features a customised gloss paint scheme with stripes from the firm 8-Ball, making it different from the usual model. Also, an all-black theme for the mirrors, handlebars, exhausts as well as wheels, an aluminium name badge and side panels with individual numbers.
The limited edition boasts of the same 2.3L, in-line 3-cylinder engine that makes 146 BHP @ 5,750 rpm and 221 Nm of torque @ 2,750 rpm. but comes with graphic and cosmetic updates.
