All new Pulsar NS 160 has been launched in a real disc brake variant on Monday. The aggressive looking bike finds a stiff competition from TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S FI and Honda CB Hornet 160R in the market.

The Pulsar NS 160 came in new colour options. The design of the bike is similar to the NS 200 and the motorcycle is positioned above the Pulsar 150.

It is priced at Rs. 82,630 (ex-showroom), the new variant costs about Rs. 2,000 higher than the regular single-disc version.

The most notable feature on 2018 Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is its LED daytime running lights in the front.

As for the powertrain, it uses a 160.3 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, four-valve, SOHC DTS-i engine that is good enough to develop a maximum power output of 15.5 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of peak torque delivered at 6,500 rpm. It is linked with a five-speed transmission

The Pulsar NS 160 engine offers 15.5 PS power and 14.6 Nm torque and comes in mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The company appears to have new models up its sleeve as the 110 to 125 cc commuter segments currently dominated by Hero MotoCorp are targetted.

Talking about the perimeter, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is positioned on the same frame as the NS 200 but gets smaller tyres and a smaller 240mm front disc.
