A woman, on Tuesday, left the Pakistani Cricketer-turned-Politician Imran Khan's party 'Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf' over alleged allegations of female harassment and indecent text messages against the party leader.

According to Pakistani Media, Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Ayesha Gulalai Wazir, quit the party on Tuesday saying the 'ill-treatment' of women in the party is the reason she is leaving and also alleged that Imran's conduct and text messages were "highly indecent".

Party members, however, have dismissed the allegations saying that the woman was disgruntled over the party denying her ticket for the upcoming election. They also added that the woman was planning to join the opposition party PML (N).

Earlier, Gulalai had said, "Maybe they think Pakistan is England. At this age, you [Imran] have not been able to reform your habits, maybe you do not have control over your behaviour."

Referring to Imran's behaviour, she said, "No one with any honour will be able to stomach the sort of language used."

She reportedly said, "Women workers are not respected in the party and a respectable woman worker cannot remain in the party."

"...the honour of mothers and sisters was not safe because of Chairman Imran Khan, whom she dubbed as a fake Pathan and a characterless person," Gulalai said, adding, "I think Imran Khan has issues because he is jealous of talented people. He thinks they are a threat. Because of this, many men run from him. He has other methods with women."

Senior Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Leader Shireen Mazari denied the allegations saying Imran has always treated women with respect and added 'no investigations are needed against him'.
