In a shocking revelation, the Pakistani media on Monday reported that the Country's Joint Investigation Team who visited India to probe Pathankot Terror attack has blamed India for staging the attack to expand its “vicious propaganda” against Pakistan.
Attributing unnamed source privy to the JIT report, Pakistan Today has reported that the Indian authorities had prior information about the attackers. The news paper also reported that JIT has trashed the claims of Indian Authorities about the entry of terrorists from Pakistan despite electric fence on border.
"The Indian response was ridiculous. They claimed that the breach was possible as power was not running through the electric fence due to some electricity problem that night,” the newspaper reported quoting JIT source.
The probe team who visited India on March 27 in its report has claimed that the Indian government did not cooperate with the JIT and instead made efforts to hinder the probe by the Pakistani team.
"The report concludes that the Indian allegations about the involvement of Pakistan’s non-state actors in the Pathankot Airbase attack have not been established and “what appears from the Indian side is a case of a badly knitted stage drama,” the Newspaper added.
