The Law Ministry has approved the appointment of senior lawyer Indu Malhotra as a Judge of the Supreme Court, but delayed the appointment of Justice KM Joseph to the apex court, despite the Collegium submitting the request for both in February, media reported on Thursday.

The government on Wednesday served a second set of notices to social networking giant Facebook and political analysis firm Cambridge Analytca. The notices were sent over the recent data breach of 5.7 lakh Indian's Facebook accounts after finding 'discrepancies' in the responses given by the firms earlier.

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on Wednesday said it will inform its subscribers if contributions were not deposited by their employers with the body for a given month in due time.

In an exclusive interview to Focus News, former Prime Minister of Nepal Pushp Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has termed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit as 'historic'.
Prachanda met PM Modi on Friday, during which the bilateral relations and issues related to that country came up for discussion.
Prachanda, the leader of CPN-Maoist who had led a decade- long armed movement in Nepal before joining mainstream politics about eight years ago, is here on a seven-day visit since July 14.
An India-baiter for years, he had last met Modi in Kathmandu during the Prime Minister's visit there in August last year.

In his interview with Political Editor Shanker Arnimesh, Prachanda accepted that he "failed in competitive politics in 2008." "My biggest mistake was not making Sushil Koirala as President and removing Army chief."
He also clarified that he has no soft corner for China and maintains a very healthy relationship with India.
"Modi's visit was historic and there is no comparison of him with ex-PM Manmohan Singh."

Last month, India had pledged USD one billion in assistance to Nepal for its reconstruction programme which is over and above India's existing developmental assistance of another USD one billion over the next five years.
Issues relating to Nepal's Constitution also figured in the meeting.
