Afghanistan: Suicide Car Bomb Blast In Kabul Kills 24

An explosion has been reported in the PD6 area of Kabul in Afghanistan.

The blast was reported by the Afghanistani media on Monday morning.

While the media reports claim that 24 people have dies, an Afghan official has confirmed that at least 2 people have been killed while another 2 injured in the suicide car bomb attack near Kabul.

Talking to the Associate Press, Health Ministry spokesperson Waheed Majrooh said that two people died in the explosion along with the suicide bomber. Another two people were hurt, although the spokesperson didn’t tell the extent of their injuries yet.

The blast comes 2 days after another blast in Afghanistan’s Takhar province, in which 2 civilians had lost their lives.

As violence in the country gets worse, more and more conflict related incidents are surfacing across Afghanistan. Just in the first half of the year 2017, the country has witnessed the death of 1660 civilians in armed conflict.
