In a landmark judgement, the Supreme Court on Thursday announced its unanimous verdict by a bench of 9 judges that the right to privacy is a fundamental right, over turning two previous judgements that had stated the opposite.
Th apex court ruled that the right to privacy "is protected as an intrinsic part of Article 21 that protects life and liberty."
As the historic judgement marked a great victory for citizens of the nations, the public took to Twitter to hail the Supreme Court verdict.
