Tennis legend Roger Federer is often considered to be the 'Greatest Of All Time' a term which shortens into the acronym GOAT. During a press conference, when Federer was answering questions from fans, a young fan asked him a question that has since then gone viral.

The young fan began innocently enough, asking about Federer's homeland Switzerland, how cool it was, to which Federer replied it's cool a lot of the time. The kid then asked, that since there are not many livestock in Switzerland, why is Federer called the 'Goat'?

Although smiling, Federer did not clarify the concept of Greatest of All Time, and instead replied truthfully that he never calls himself Goat, but some of his fans do.

“I don’t know. Some fans call me that. I don’t call myself that. Yeah, we have a lot of animals in Switzerland, and goats are part of the livestock we have over there, yes,” said Federer.

The kid then asked Federer, that since he is such a consistent player, if he would continue playing for another 8-9 years so that when the young fan went pro he would have a chance to play against the legend.

Federer replied warmly, “Yeah, sure. If you make it on tour, I’ll make sure maybe I come back for you, okay (smiling)?”
