"Rule the road but first wear the crown", Yes we are talking about the Helmet, the road safety crown!

This Raksha Bandhan the 'Sisters For Change' website was launched by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan as part of 'Gift A Helmet' campaign.

The word Raksha Bandhan specifies, 'Raksha' means protection and 'bandhan' means bound or binding, What would be a better gift than helmet this Raksha Bandhan? 

Indian sand artist from Odisha Sudarsan Pattnaik urges sisters to gift helmets to their brothers. His artistry on sand, supporting the campaign 'Gift A Helmet' goes viral on social media.

 As the artistry goes viral, the campaign attracted response from many prominent faces including Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir.

Virender Sehwag's tweet, "Good initiative. Driving helmetless and overspeeding is passport to grave. Please don't be in a hurry. Be safe & gift your loved ones a helmet".

 Gautam Gambhir's tweet, " Couldn't think of a better gift, very thoughtful #Sister4Change #GiftAHelmet".

Member of Parliament and Telangana Rashtra Samithi party, Kalvakuntla Kavitha supported the campaign with her tweet and posted the clicks gifting helmet to her brother.

Supporting this campaign, many on social media have shared pictures of sisters gifting helmets to their brothers.
