Heart-Swelling Video Starring Amitabh Bachchan, National Anthem In Sign Language

India is moving towards completing 70 years of Independence. The entire nation is looking forward to celebrating the glorious occasion. Every year, the Government of India comes up with some unique idea to encourage the citizens for contributing to the development of the country, and this year is not any different.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development has released a heart-stirring video featuring Amitabh Bachchan alongside the disabled and particially-abled children. The video is precieved to be a step by Government of India to ensure inclusivity and preserve diversity in the nation.

The 3-minute-35seconds long video was shot in the backdrop of the Red Fort. Directed by veteran filmmaker Govind Nihalani, it was conceptualized by We Care Film Festival's founder-director, Satish Kapoor.

While talking about the video, Union Minister, Mahendra Nath Pandey said, “This is one of the efforts made to make their survival easier. India is an ancient country and sign language has been used since ancient times.”

The minister further explaining the motive behind the creation of the video added, "Modi has a vision that India's development will be complete when our divyangjan become an integral part of it and come forward in the nation building."

Instead of using the term 'viklang', PM Modi has suggested to use the term, 'divyang' (divine body) for physically disabled people. This initiative is to promote an environment where these people could earn a livelihood and live an independent life like any other citizen.

The video has already gone viral within two days of its release and is earning a number of compliments and shares throughout the social media platforms.
