Popstar, Taylor Swift's much-anticipated number, "Look What You Made Me Do" of her upcoming album "Reputation" is out and her fans could not be happier. Although, the song sounds familiar to an old song and Twitterati observed it too.

Apparently, the song is inspired by Fred Fairbrass's 1991 hit track, "I’m Too Sexy." All the members of the British pop group including Jack Antonoff; and Richard Fairbrass, Fred Fairbrass and Rob Manzoli had contributed in making of that song.

The lyrics of Taylor's song doesn't match the old song but the chorus is vaguely similar. The original song writers were given due credits in Taylor's new single.

Post the implementation of “Blurred Lines” lawsuit in 2015 where songwriters, Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams had to compensate Marvin Gaye’s family with $7.4 million for using his hit, “Got to Give It Up”, the other singers need to beware!

Another reason for the song creating a buzz among Indians is its similarities with Indian superstar, Govinda's song, "Meri pant bhi sexy meri shirt bhi sexy". The song is in fact nowhere near Taylor's new release but whatever floats their boat.
